RIP Jean Beagley
It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that I have to let you all know that our judo coach and my mentor, Jean Beagley, died today Thursday 18th July.
Jean was inspirational to both myself and Sarah during our competitive days and was our mainstay within the club. It is because of her that we are both coaching and I am Head Coach.
We will miss her immensely. RIP Jean.

Commonwealth Judo
Championships 2019
To be held in Birmingham later this year, Newbury Judo Club have had five of their judoka selected to represent England, where they will compete against judoka from countries all over the Commonwealth.

Aug 2018 Congratulations to Ian who successfully gained his Black Belt at a recent Dan grading winning 3 contests in a row with straight IPPONs Unfortunately we will be losing Ian soon as he embarks on his chosen career in the Navy where he intends to continue his judo and no doubt will try and make the Navy squad |
